In connection with several human and sex trafficking allegation lodged against Sean “P Diddy” Combs in various civil suits, Homeland Security’s Investigations unit raided his Los Angeles and Miami homes on Monday, March 25, 2024. Homeland Security Investigations spokesperson confirmed that it had “executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation.” HSI is responsible for investigating human trafficking, among other transnational crimes. Footage from the raids in Miami and LA show law enforcement apprehending several people who were occupying those homes at the time of the raid, including two of P Diddy’s sons, who are not specifically names in any reports. Its not clear whether the occupants were actually arrested or held, rather it appears they were secured to simply remove them from the properties.
HSI has not confirmed whether Combs or any of the occupants of either home were the targets of the raids, but they have reported the Combs was not found on site when the raids took place. Homeland executed the warrants with what appeared to be heavily armed SWAT units. Mobile command vehicles and crime scene processing units were seen entering both properties.
Lawsuits have been mounting against Combs over the past few months, prompting federal authorities seek search warrants for his properties. In November 2023, singer Cassie Ventura files a lawsuit against P Diddy, accusing him of physical and sexual abuse throughout their over a decade long relationship. A day after Cassie filed that lawsuit, Diddy settled with her out of court. A month later in December, a Jane Doe filed her own lawsuit claiming that she was 17 years old when Diddy and his associates sexually assaulted her, and alleged human and sex trafficking in that lawsuit. A more recent lawsuit filed in LA also alleges human and sex trafficking by Diddy and his associates.
